Yea, the plan was to just suspend all band stuff 'til after Christmas and when we get the PA back..

However chances of us actually doing anything now is very slim indeedy..The PA system we "lost", was "lost" cos it was nicked..

Well, the video that is on now is just me (tom) playing random chords on my guitar in no particular way, just whatever notes i felt like playing... and Sam on teh drums.. i must say, not one of his best drummy thingies.. as personally i reckon he's fucking good, but a very good one still.

Me (Tom) isht off to Cuba at 3am this morning...thats in 1hr45mins. I'm getting the taxi from my house to Gatwick, in London... that's taking about 6-7 hours. When we get there, we get on the plane if it ain't delayed. But it'll still take hours n hours coz..well it just will.

When we get to Cuba it will be about 6:30pm (Cuban Time), so that's about 11:45pm-ish British Time..and it's only 1:45am now!! i got alot of travelling to do. (about 23 hours *sighs* - lol for chez!)

So yea, but the best thing of all is, my room belongs to me n will. So yay!!, but why is not being supervised by parents such an advantage you ask??

ALL INCLUSIVE FREE FUCKING MINI BAR IN TEH ROOM IS YOUR ANSWER!!! yay!! i'm getting smashed!! anyway, the last 3/4 paragraphs have nothing to do with the band..so i'll end with something that does..

yer, someone said that not much has happened with our band at the moment. i agree,

1. Jake lost his PA, fuck knows how.. so yea, we can't really practise without it cos we got nothing to amplify vocals.
2. Jake is on holiday somewhere, but he's back either today or very soon
3. I'm off to Cuba in 2 or 3 hours, so yea..
4. Fred's off snowboarding/skiing in France sometime in November, so yea.. nothing much will be happening for a while, but yea.. stuff'll happen soon, about Decemberish!! so yea!

Last night, as i'm sure you all know was our very first real gig! in the DeValence. It started with problem after problem, we got there and everything was all cool and stuff, we were ready to paly. After about an hour, we found out that we needed to have our own symbols for the drum kit. So yea, we were like WTF! So Sam and Fred went back to Penally to get them! But we were still a hi-hat short, (but we just borrowed one anyway) and one of the toms, so we only had one!

Anyway, after about 2 hours of running round mentally lol, it came time for us to play. Now the dis-advantages we had were:

1. We had no soundcheck, or pre-rehersal that all the other bands had. So we were a bit like"..err.."
2. It was our first real gig, in a big venue, so yea, its quite nerve-wrecking on your first time
3. It was Freddy's first ever gig, Sam's first BIG gig and Jake's first BIG gig.
4. We were the youngest, most unexperienced band there

And can i just say i am very chuffed and impressed with all of them. For freddy's first time, he fuckin pwned! I love him to bits for it! His first gig and he nailed it and everyone loved him! lol it was great.
Same with Sam, all the things about the drums n stuff, so he had like, half the drum kit and he still did it!

Yer, i think everyone agrees, even us, that we didn't play shit..although we didn't play as good as we could've, the only really fuck-up was when we played our hardest song "Left Behind" (SlipKnot) we did it perfect the night before at Checkers/Penally, however i tihnk the nerves got to us all this time and we did it was to fast, we lost time a few times aswell. But yet i didn't hear one "boo" or one "you suck" or anything, just cheers.

Yer, i got interviewed by some ..interviewer dude about the band n stuff, that was quite fun! lol i was a bit pissed! The producer guy loved us aswell, and the people that run stuff are getting back in touch with us, thorugh our new band manager "Stephan Paxton" and yer!! So tbh, it went very well! Nothing at all to be down about, so well done guys and thanx to everyone who have supported us! We love you! xx lol
