Well, I finally got round to moving back to England last summer - High Wycombe - living with my friend Greg to be exact! It's very cluttered as I have books, books and more books! (and so does he!) We also have a fairly substantial movie collection between us which fills most of the living room! I'm on a hill nice view and town centre only 15-20 mins on foot!
Am a Christian!!!
I worship at All Saints C of E here in the heart of Wycombe town! (I rarely get to go on a Sunday because of my work schedule, but am glad they do weekday services so I can get Communion any day of the week!)
Music
Anything mostly except metal or gangsta rap... I'm currently listening to U2 - 18 or Casino Royale soundtrack; also sometimes pop on Kaiser Chiefs, Gorillaz, Avril Lavigne, Coldplay, The Cranberries, Texas, No Doubt, Blur, Stereophonics, The Verve, Red Hot Chili Peppers or The Rasmus! I confess to once being a fan of the Backstreet Boys (have most of their singles/albums in my collection somewhere) and I do also like some of Eminem's stuff... I have a few of his too! I have some Christian stuff - DC Talk Jesus Freak is one of my favourites...my brother's band Martyr (Montreal-based Christian rock band)...etc.
Home Cinema
I have a very ecclectic collection at home: ranges from Horror/Thriller to Action/adventure to Sci-Fi/Fantasy to comedy and rom-com, etc. Pirates of the Caribbean (Curse of the Black Pearl and now also Dead Man's Chest - avast me hearties!) The Star Wars saga (old and new parts!) The Lord of The Rings movie trilogy; Batman Begins; Pulp Fiction; L4yer Cake; Snatch; The Transporter (both - Jason Statham is our kick-ass guy!); El Mariachi/Desperado; From Dusk Till Dawn; Chocolat; Edward Scissorhands; Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas; The Corpse Bride; Big Fish; Trainspotting (Especially anything with Johnny Depp or Ewan McGregor in it!); Wallace and Gromit - Curse of the Were-Rabbit; Chicken Run; Batman - The Animated Series; Dog Soldiers; 3 Sean Connery Bond movies, the 4 Brosnan James Bond movies...and now Casino Royale (Best.Bond.Ever!) and many more!
At The Cinema
I just saw Seven Pounds on Friday when it opened - very good and highly enjoyable! Previously, I enjoyed Madagascar - Escape 2 Africa, Bedtime Stories, and Twilight did very well to condense an nearly 500 page book into 1hr40mins; Confessions of a Shopaholic should be very funny; looking forward to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Transformers 2, etc.
Scared Of
Spiders (and creepy-crawlies in general!) Eeew!
And heights (edges particularly!)
used to be terrified of Freddy Kreuger (Nightmare on Elm Street!)
Happiest When
Reading a good book or writing one of my stories while listening to music loud, or watching a good movie! I also like to go out for a meal or a drink with friends!
Books
Books stimulate the imagination! I've been a bookworm since I was five and could read when I was three! I read just about anything I can get my hands on! I have been known devour a book in a matter of hours! Just been reading some books by Robert Muchamore - CHERUB series - just finshed the newest one The Fall (I started last month with The Recruit, Class A, Maximum Security, The Killing, Divine Madness, then Man vs Beast); I also read Skulduggery Pleasant - a very good read! An interesting main character who is an undead (skeleton) sorcerer-detective set in and around Dublin; I enjoy new Doctor Who spin-off books featuring the Tenth Doctor and Rose: The Resurrection Casket (Space pirates! Throughly readable!) My faves tho are mystery novels: The Cat Who... series, Stephanie Plum series, Goldy the Caterer series, CSI spin-off stories, and many more! Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Alex Rider, etc.
TV
Christmas day saw the return of The Doctor - Doctor Who - of course! For David Tennant's final few specials in 2009! CSI (the original and the best! Set in fabulous Las Vegas!), CSI NY and Miami, Without a Trace, Stargate: SG-1 season 10 is finished now and Atlantis is over now too! 24 - Day 7? The end is nigh!
