- Put To Rest is a school age, 5 piece metalcore band hailing from West Auckland. They combine metalcore, hardcore, death metal and grindcore with that almost screwed up something that makes Put To Rest have that unique something. Put To Rest write sincere lyrics(often not portrayed by the songs names)that are mainly deal with Faith, Family and Friends. PTR are the latest member of the Distraught Records Family and have just done some more recording with them and plan on doing some more with them in the not so distant future. PTR have an energetic and a spastic live performance with throwing down on stage that is even more physical than Windsor Pilaties!!
