- Welcome to Bodhrán's bebo page!! Bodhrán consists of traditional Irish dancers, musicians, singers & well just generally talented people!! We are based in beautiful Bray where we meet up once a month. We have performed at numerous local events but our main aim is to promote Irish culture abroad through participating in International Folk Festivals.
This year we're planning to head to a dance festival in Germany for the June bank holiday weekend. Check out details on their website www.landjugend-geismar.de. Welcome to the Bodhrán's bebo page and thanks for joining!!
We've set up this site so that everyone can have their say on what goes on in the group. Please leave comments with any suggestions you have for the group - be they suggestions on a fun activity we should do, dances and songs we put into our performances, snacks we should have at practices...anything at all is welcome.
We're also going to use this site to let you know about events and performances that are happening as it has been noted that lack of communication has been an issue recently.
So the first order of business is to say that we're organising a night out for all of the group in September as a thank you for all the hard work you've been putting in over the past couple of years!! The suggestion was to go to Pizzas and Cream...but that's just one suggestion. So please leave a comment if you have another suggestion like if you'd rather go into town to TGIs or somewhere and then we can come to a group decision

no sorry i just too busy with my dancing that i couldnt take anymore on at the moment ya know. between classes, shows and competitions i dancing 6 nights a week nearly every week.

I have been looking for an irish dance class for adults??
I am 25 and gave up dancing when I was about 18,have been looking for a class for a while but would prefer an adult class! If anything springs to mind please let me know!! Thanx very much
