Well,My names Dashka, or also known to a select few as Darren.I'm a 23 year old professional dj/producer/promoter/saxophon
ist/architectual technician from the ever-bustling metropolis of Cork. I play/produce mostly tech/electro house/ and other generally energetic/funky type stuff,although anything goes.
At present, some of my productions have been getting great plays by some big djs,which is nice!Also get to play alongside some of these guys from time to time,which is pretty cool 2!

- After getting into the whole Gym thing, so tend to spend 5/6 mornings a week in there lately, which is a change!haha.Sports however, are still just not my thing
.AND life is too short to spend all my time frollicking about on a field when I could just as easily be NOT wasting my life and doing things I much prefer to do such as playing music/making music/(if music were a woman I would totally do her)/sleeping/watching good films&tv etc. - Scared Of
- fat people who smell suspiciously like a cocktail of urine and babies, with far too much wet grey facial hair to be considered natural......ahem...and going deaf is a biggie....another would be doing a ridiculously noticeable loud wet fart in front of a crowd of people who are either important or hot female bikini models-apart from them I wouldn't care if I did I'm also very very scared that one of there days I might lose my virginity!!

- MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC!Playing music, spinning music, making music, talking music, thinking music, having a shower after the gym(Savage!), getting drunk with friends, watching funny cartoons and seeing/imagining/thinking of things that make me laugh so hard that tears run down my face and i begin to dribble so much i start to drown....which happens more often than you might imagine.....twice already today in fact...ahem......But happiest when either with my family/friends, or djing at gigs and seeing the reaction to some of my music when I play them.

The Musical Mystery Tour, It will take place on Sat the 31st of Oct (Halloween Night). @ FAIRYHOUSE COMPLEX, there will be yet again three rooms of music and in each one there will be a mix of House, Techno, Electro played from 4pm till the early morning hours. There are two heated in door arenas with a full bar and there will be one out door area. It is a Halloween party so best fancy dress on the night will win a cash prize. If you would like to attend this private party please email members@slick-dj.com or contact one of the Dj’s that are playing Tickets priced at €25.
Each Dj will organize a bus there and back priced at only €10 per head return
