You Don’t Understand
How You Make Me Feel


You’re the reason I drag myself out of bed,
The reason I try so hard to look nice.
You’re the reason I don’t just run off and get into fights,
You’re the reason because when I want to fight,
I remember that it would only take me away from you in the end.
Things that I cant even explain,
If only you knew my whole thoughts,
You would understand that I truly love you,
That there is no one else I would rather be with,
The one I wish to stay with,
To be with…to not let go of in the afternoons,
You are the reason I await those minutes in between classes,
The reason I love lunch…and the only reason I am so happy.
To think that I thought high school would be bad,
But you know…
I never knew I would meet someone as wonderful as you,
Someone I could be myself with,
Someone I could love and be loved in return.
You don’t understand how much I want to be with you,
How much I hate weekends because they keep me away,
Away from whom I love,
And who I love is no secret,
Because everyone…including you,
Knows that you are the only one for me,
And that I love you so much.

Friends

Friends make you laugh,
They even make you stare.
If you don’t act like them
They really don’t care…
They’re your friends for a reason
They guide you
Never lose a friend…
If you do,
Get them back…
They’re the only ones that will be there
WHENEVER
You need them…






Differences

There is nothing wrong with being different,
White or black
You and me…well we’re different
Color of skin is not the only difference…
I’ll love you for you
We make our own choices in life…
Not our parents or teachers
Us and only us can make our choices
That’s all there is…
There isn’t any more







I Love It
i love it when you smile
when you whisper nonsense in my ear
i love it when you stare
when your walking down the hall to see me
when you know you want to kill
the one who bothers me
i love it when you always
make your path my way
when you sit or even stand by me
your love is like a shower of flowers
sweet and soft just like your warm hugs
what i love most in the world about you is
how you act yourself.




Passion
I touch your face
You kiss my lips
You touch my hips
Our hearts touch
The two become one
Burning passion
And sparkling eyes
Ears waiting to hear
The three words
Words that are never heard
Then a song that plays on the radio
Says it all
"you say it best
When you say nothing at all"

When will you leave your toys behind?
When will you become my prince?
When will you free me from my thoughts?
And the high tower walls
When will you fight the dragon?
When will you show me the man you can be
When will you show me the world you are?

Dark

To be left alone in the dark.
To be scared so much you cry.
To not know why depression is overcoming your body.
As easy as pie they say…well I deny.
Love is pain far above everything.
The only thing that beats it is the heartbreak of knowing you tried to love and had no reason to.
I thought love would never come back to me,
That I would be left to die alone.
But then you came along and everything changed.
I knew you were different,
Different from all the rest.
Love is pain and pain is plenty,
I’ll take that pain
Jus so I am reminded how much I’m in love with you.

When I get emotional,
They all hide in fear.

No one feels my pain.
When someone gets close,
I get scared and break away.
No one cared for me,
Then I met you.
