But yeah and then you can select which you want but youd have to divide the disk space etc...i guess if your getting it from a shop it would be easy to ask them to do it...
Advantage of Linix... its free! just download it from a website... wheras XP or Vista is like what £100 or more i duno but yeah anyway it's best to ask the shop or whoever about it. Outa Vista or XP though i'd go Vista. akward at first just takes some getting used to.

Vista or XP well i would go for XP only as i'm used to it... but alot of games and new programs that are coming out still run on XP but everything is moving to Vista my guess is that it would be hard to find the XP opterating system anywhere i could be wrong though. I guess they both have there advantages but vista is the future....
Have you thought about linux maybe or a dual boot system? Linix is you can write your own code etc for the OP, and if you had a dual boot you could have linix and vista or vista and xp? and pick which u want on boot of the comp
