Shots went well, so well infact that I had to ask if she actually gave me the shot! I was watching the entire time and i didnt feel a thing... I was a tad confused but they made me sit around for about a halfa just in case.

Wow well these guys asked no questions, were just keen to get me stabed and out of there. They also didn't have a copy of my itinerary i just told them I needed the shot. The nurse was my old hockey coach though when I was at boarding school over there so we had a good old chat and she was really excited for us!

How much does it suck not knowing! They all looked at me here in Narrabri and said "your in for a GREAT holiday"

Home of the golden guitar, also where I went to boarding school for 2 years. Not such a bad little place.
I took the week off work They wernt very happy they had me on 38hours, I worked 12hours on Monday for them but with all this organization I simply dont have the time to work.

Apparently I have to sit around the surgery for a while after the injection 40minutes they said, should be a good 40mins spent with sick patients with the flu waiting to see the doctor. I shall spend it reading all those out of date womans weekly mags that are usually lying around on the waiting room tables!

less than 48hours now!

Oh really? Nice for some hey. I guess it was just the "aww isnt she cute lets take it easy on her" syndrome The Docs just grabbed the needles planted them in my arms and said have a nice day! (After taking a large portion of money from my wallet!)

I'm of to Tamworth tomorrow morning for my Yellow Fever vaccination. You realize that means either Africa or South America for us, possibly both As for Rabies they said that it wasn't nessicary for the destinations the Aussie traveler will be going to.

Since the Rabies vaccination is a '3 shot series' it is to be given at:
0 days
8 days
28 days

As the 21st draws closer by the day, they said that they could squeeze in two shots in the remaining time. However this would obviously not complete the series and we would not be immune to the disease. In the unfortunate event that we were to get bitten by a dog whilst travelling we would have partial immunity but would need a booster if we come in contact with Rabies.

anyways i bet you cant wait until friday...OMG this is all just crazy and i still cant get my head around it...i think that maybe when it all begins things will start to kick in...

well since the announcement things have been soo crazy and still are...press are pretty much on my back 24/7 and i just wish that i just meet them all at the same place at the same time so i dont have to repeat myself over and over again...

but yeah all is well just trying to sort my life out in the lil time that i have left...

so anything planned for the big annoucement???
