Brittania high - Comprasion comparison
Lets hope i get this right testing out some uni work analysis on something i found on youtube. its an impressive editing creation for a music video. and yet amazingly simple and stereotypical to ttie into the series.
The first video is through an untregistered hypercam... some free software but low quality - why?
well its recording the screen - yes yet it gets pixelated at sections - why?
thats down to us wanting it take up less space on a tape, dvd or hard drive. the compression of it leads to the picture having a key frame to refresh on. This essentially means any movement between key frames in areas become blotchy and the more they move the more disfigured they become.
Watching the other version we can see clearly the picture maintains a more wholesome image. this is probly a larger file and not suffered any compression hence it is RAW - most likely not if on you tube probs an Mpeg 2 to a WMV file where it keeps almost all teh data (difficult to explain). the key frame is refreshed more frequently allowing the staic not to become redundant and teh movements not to become distorted.
Also i did it on Britania high coz of a bet i lost with someone who sed that i wouldnt be able to find anything i like in it coz i dont like musicals... well its not true... and i ike this song and the editing through out it is very reminisant of the kenny everet show which used suvch techniques to do visual jokes and sketches.
So blah blah. enjoy.

Skydiving plane fails at 7,000ft
Fifteen people have escaped unharmed in the US state of Indiana after a sky-diving plane lost power 7,000ft (2,100m) from the ground.
The pilot told the 14 skydivers to jump to safety, then crash-landed the plane and crawled out of the wreckage.
The malfunction caused oil to spray on the windscreen, limiting the pilot's visibility, and he lost manual control.
The plane found the runway but overshot ending up in a cornfield, turning over as its propellers hit the ground.
The parachutists, who all landed without incident, were able to watch the plane's descent, near the town of Greensburg.
Bob Dougherty, who owns the company SkyDive Greensburg, said the plane was climbing when the engine cut out.
The pilot levelled off the plane at 5,000ft so that the jumpers could evacuate the plane.
With thick smoke and oil from the engine affecting his field of vision, the pilot tried to steer the plane back.
"He just ran out of runway, but he was able to put the plane in a place where nobody would get hurt," Mr Dougherty told the Greensburg Daily News newspaper.
"It's a loss, but 15 people walked away because everybody performed professionally," he said.

I enjoyed flying.,.. was v.fun. Prefered it on way there than on way back, plane was quieter n my ears didnt hurt on way there!!
