hey all
it's monday and it's sunny.
hello beers, we are carnivores!
so we're back in action a week today playing glasgow king tuts wah wah hut with the days and be a familiar. both very good bands, i trust you will agree. we'll be rocking a bare minimum of 3 new songs and 5 'hits'. we've sold out of our allocation of tickets but there's still some on sale via the usual capitalist schemes. it's over 14's btw, so bring yr weans. starts at 8pm. no idea when we're on but it'll be worth getting there early days.
other news: libya, the pound, michael keaton, ice. we also got a new practice room, pics and reaction to follow.
in other other news, its the scottish cup semifinal next saturday. saint mirren football club against glasgow rangers pcl. let's see if dorman can kick a ball very hard again, like he's done for 4 games in a row.

Tuts Rearranged - April 27th
Hey all,
Our gig what got cancelled last week has been rearranged for April 27th. Again, it's supporting those catchy pop chaps, The Days. If anyone who had tickets for the cancelled gig wants briefs for this one, they should leave me a comment and i'll hook you up with the new ones fo' gratis.
We're also playing a few more shows in April...
April 3rd - Glasgow Captain's Rest w/ Baddies
April 4th - Glasgow Nice and Sleazy w/ Jonah Matranga
April 21st - Paisley Arts Centre (Kenny Solo, Free)
April 27th - Glasgow King Tuts w/ The Days
Anyways, on another note, the Friendly Fires album is awesome as is Taggart which i am re-watching. Mon the McManus.

the repercussions of tuts - please read
hey all
so last night was in less eloquent words, was a fucking disaster. the gig at king tuts was cancelled due to a power failure due to some 'electrician' fucking about with the power in the office above tuts and blacking out the entire venue.
all the bands had soundchecked and were raring to go and had sold over 140 tickets. it was due to be a stoter of a gig.
needless to say, we are beyond upset. we had worked so hard to get the gig to go on after the days pulled out.
but we're going to try and pull ourselves out of this black hole of dispair and get shit sorted. we're going to try and rearrange the show so if you want to hold on, we can hook you up with tickets to a new show or we can just soldier on to get people's money back to them, however long it takes.
i hope everyone understands how shattered we were to be told the gig wasn't going ahead at 9pm with about 100 people waiting at the door.
again, sorry but we will make this up to you...
