There aint no jobs for people like me, doesnt mean to say im lazy
its just that i, like to set my sights high, man if you dont i think you're crazy
i could be an actor, i could write a play, but stick me in an office i wouldnt last a day

i got hope and i got soul, i got faith in rock n roll, and for what its worth, no-ones taking that from me
