The christmas day cabin fever is setting in so im writing to my blog. what to write? a blow by blow account of my day? no, that wouldn't be that entertaining. I've been spending most of the break pulling pints, arguing with drunks and cleaning up vomit. This is usually followed by a staff drink. to those of u not familiar with this, this is when bar staff drink stout at five in the morning. this is like a group therapy session( the world's worst group AA meeting). Here we sit around and bitch about all the customers and fantasise about being rude to drunk ppl. " I would have told him to fuck off" or "i looked him in the eye and went ande served someone else, left him waiting, then cos i got sick of looking at him i served him but told him(insert witty line to rebut arrogant prick here) and told him his behaviour wouldn.t get him served any faster". it really is a funny little culture. here you will find more bitching than any of those wedding planner shows on discovery home and leisure. then when i eventually head home i treat any quick fix shit food i can find like arare and luxurios gourmet treat. And of course, some light entertainment is needed to accompany my meal. There seems to be three choices, Dr. Phil, the Jeremy Kyle show or teleshopping. Now Phil is just patronising, I don't even think he's a real doctor! Jeremy Kyle is a pile of shit, but watching the dreggs of society has a strange appeal. The most intellectually stimulating option however must be telesshopping. the abtron six hundred really is better than other ab trainers because at the highest level ur grunch starts at a sub parallel level! and pilates can change ur life...with the right equipment. and then as the sun comes up it is time to sleep and dream of pullin pints, cleaning vomit and arguing with drunks.
