Radric Davis, known by the stage name Gucci Mane is an American rapper
Born Radric Davis on May 31, 1978 in Birmingham, Alabama. Signed to Atlantic Records in 2006 from the Atlanta Based Big Cat Records , taking his stage name from his hustler father's nickname, "Gucci Man".[1] Early Life His second album, Hard 2 Kill, was released in 2006, followed by Trap-A-Thon and Back to the Trap House in 2007, all of which sold well as independently released albums.[2]Gucci Mane and Rapper Young Jeezy after releasing the Bilboard Charting song Icy the two rappers had a disagreement over who had the rights to song which led to an arqument that consisted of several diss songs such as Young Jeezy's Stay Strapped a freestyle over the beat of TI's ASAP and Gucci's response was the song Murder for Fun. [3] The controversy escalated when Radric Davis killed a rapper from Young Jeezys label Corporate Thugz Entertainment in self-defense. The feud has not been resolved but has died down since his 2008 incarceration. [4]On May 10, 2005 Gucci Mane was visiting the home of a stripper named "Foxy" with an unidentified friend. Moments after arriving at the home, the doorbell rang, and Foxy answered the door to five assailants who began attacking Gucci Mane and his friend. Gucci Mane was armed, and let off several shots before the assault ended. Gucci Mane would later describe the shootings as self-defense. Three days later, during filming of BET's Rap City, Gucci Mane was informed that there was a warrant out for his arrest. The warrant was related to a body found, that day, near a public school in Decatur. The body turned out to be that of Henry Lee Clark III, a rapper from Macon, GA, who was performing under Young Jeezy's label, Corporate Thugz Entertainment. Gucci Mane was undergoing a feud with Young Jeezy at the time. Gucci Mane turned himself in to police on May 19, 2005.[5][6]

OJ Da Juiceman is a hardcore Southern rapper who made his major-label album debut in 2009 after releasing over a dozen underground mixtapes, many of them featuring well-known affiliate Gucci Mane. Born Otis Williams, Jr., on November 26, 1981, in Atlanta, GA, he grew up in a single-parent household on the east side of Atlanta with his mother and was initially influenced by N.W.A and other hardcore rappers. 'Juiceman' is considered to be part of the notorious "blood" gang along with Gucci Mane. In the late '90s he befriended Gucci Mane, who would evolve into one of the more popular hardcore rappers to emerge from Atlanta in the mid-2000s with hits such as "Icy." Given their longtime affiliation, OJ da Juiceman and Gucci Mane often collaborated, which helped the former garner recognition in the Southern rap underground. Moreover, OJ da Juiceman established himself as a solo artist with over a dozen mixtapes hosted by DJ Drama, DJ Ace, DJ Dirty Laundry, Trap-a-Holics, DJ Smallz, and others. After founding the vanity label 32 Entertainment, OJ da Juiceman signed a distribution deal with Asylum Records and released his major-label album debut, The Otha Side of the Trap (2009), which included previously released mixtape material. The album spawned singles including "I'm Gettin' Money" and "Make the Trap Say Aye," the latter featuring Gucci Mane.
