Formed with now ex-bassist, Paul D'Amour in Los Angeles, California in 1990, Tool are a dark, vaguely underground alternative/progressive metal band.
In September 1995, shortly after the start of recording Ænima, Paul D'Amour left the band, stating "creative differences" as his reason for leaving. D'Amour was quickly replaced by Justin Chancellor in November of the same year, and Ænima's recording continued as planned.

I personally thought the sound in The Point was terrible.

HELL THE WHOLE BAND DOES! really great band, and has been for ages, John, i beg to differ that your the cry baby "emo kid" seen as we didnt ask for your opinion, but all of a sudden, BAM! more tears from the John The Emo Kid.
