Hey man, I'm a bit of a shocker for responding too. Tehehe, I think that Linguistics itself is far more interesting than saying I'm just doing a BA. It does come under the arts field and that's pretty much where I belong I think, what I'm good at and where God wants me. I'm fully loving it a, Forensic Linguistics is a great paper where we look at language and the law and linguistic applications to real cases to determine culpability and authorship and suchlike. Great fun! I'm also working on a research report at the moment on the role that language plays within endangered cultures...flip man, that's fully pushing the buttons and tugging at the strings with me. It's quite compelling stuff to deal with.

Anyway, I hope you are all well in Stratty and looking after it. Palmy is pretty sweet right now, I'm about to go underground for exams though so...should be good brother!

Chezzah! How are you mate? I havn't heard from you in a while eh, how is good ole Straty holding up? You looking after the Naki for the rest of us ex-pats? (as it were) I'm sure it's in safe hands (and if it's not then there probably aren't any).

I like that Lifehous skit a, I thought it was quite moving a, I was moved. It's a marvellous and reassuring knowledge to have that the son of God cares for us and loves us enough to redeem us from ourselves and what we get into......I'm not sure where that came from, it was a bit off the cuff.

Life in Palmy is stonking along, I've just had my first exam (Linguistics) today (you might have noticed the contractions). Mate! Phwoah! (which is the physiological function of language in use) I am so flippin tired now a, it's hard to understand how not moving can make you so tired. I'm just hoping and praying I did well (and better than I think I did).
