Hey hey Strathsurf! Now you can't have failed to notice the GLORIOUS weather we have today - perfect longboarding weather! And, oh-so-coincidentally, we are doing just that, and would like to invite anyone from Srathsurf that wants to to join SULC for our skate-social today! It's the ultimate dry-land substitute for surfing!

We are meeting outside the union at 4pm and from there we will be heading to Kelvingrove park for some longboarding antics and generally making the most of this uncharacteristically fine day in sunny Glasgow! We'll be following that up with a trip to the pub afterwards for a well deserved cold one.

We're having a fundraising Ceilidh on Wed 11th March, 7.30pm in O'Couture and would be delighted if you made an appearance. Ticets are £8 and are available from the sports union. This includes a raffle, buffet, live Ceilidh band and endless banter. Drinks are £1 on the night.

Good to see everythings goin well and still lookin as crazy as ever. Must say, i am somewhat missing the strathsurf banter. Gonna be around over Xmas for a couple weeks and gonna get in as much surfing as possible, so if anyone is keen let me know!

We at SULC, your friendly local Longboard club, are having our first ever skate meet and Come-And-Try session on Wednesday (that's tomorrow!) up on Level 8 of the Union, where you can try out longboarding in all its guises, and have a good old laugh at everyone falling off the boards and crashing into things!
That will be followed by a social, again in Vertigo, where the bar will be open from 8pm.

Also our club hoodies are available to order and Wednesday is your last chance to get one before the first order is put in. Check them out on our Bebo.

We hope to see plenty of SUSC there for all the longboard-fuelled banter and inter-club competitions!
