Vein Melter Play Bewley's Cafe Theatre on July 30th
My new jazz project, Vein Melter, will be performing tunes I wrote on Thursday the 30th of July in Bewley's on Grafton Street (upstairs). Come down and check it out!
The band features Alex Mathias on tenor saxophone, Johnny Taylor on piano, Dominic Mullan on the drums, and me on fretless bass, plus the unique rap-influenced vocals of Dave Byrne. Expect some foot-stomping grooves and burning solos!
Playing after Vein Melter in this jazz double bill will be the Valerie Coyne Quintet:an energetic young band led through originals and jazz classics by experienced singer Valerie Coyne.
Doors 8pm, €10 admission. Enjoy a night of quality, head-nodding music.
