Alice Cooper, the Father of Shock Rock

Alice Cooper was born on the 4th of February, 1948. He was influenced by British bands in particular The Yardbirds. Alice Cooper started off as a band. He legally changed his name to Alice Cooper for a successful solo career.

Alice Cooper as a band released "Pretties For You", "Easy Action", "Love It to Death", "Killer", "Schools Out", "Billion Dollar Babies" and "Muscle of Love".

In 1974, the band split. "Welcome to My Nightmare" was Cooper's first solo album. "Alice Cooper Goes to Hell" and "Lace and Whiskey" and "DaDa" released later those years. In 1986 he released "Constrictor" and "Raise Your Fist and Yell" in 1986. In 1989 "Trash". In 1991 "Hey Stoopid". In 1994, he released "The Last Temptation". In 1999, the four disc box set "The Life and Crimes of Alice Cooper" was released. He paused for six years it ended in 2000 with "Brutal Planet". In 2003 "The Eyes Of Alice Cooper" and in 2005 " Dirty Diamonds".
