close About Me

Me, Myself, and I
JOINED 7/1/06.

THOUGHTS FOR 2009: Jer 29:11 (NIV) "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." For me this verse helps me remember that God's plan for my life is so much better than the one I think I should have. I see only a fraction of my life at a time, while God sees the whole picture.

"If friendship were a colour it would be a rainbow"

"If COAL can turn into a DIAMOND"
"And ordinary SAND into a PEARL"
"If a WORM can change into a BUTTERFLY"
"Then with GODS LOVE we can all make our WORLD a better place!"

TO BE SAMOAN, educate yourself enough, so you may understand the ways of other people, but not too much that you may lose your understanding of your own. Try things Palagi, not so you may become Palagi, but so you may see the value of things Samoan. Learn to speak Samoan, not so you may be seen as Samoan, but so you will feel the true essence of being Samoan!

  • TOP 10 POLYNESIAN TONGUE TWISTERS

AUSTRALIAN RUGBY LEAGUE IS CHANGING IN A BIG WAY
WITH THE POLYNESIAN INVASION OF PLAYERS.

    1. Toleafoa Leaupepe (NZ Warriors)
    Pronounced Torli-a-foa Larw-be-be.

    2. Feleti Mateo (Parramatta Eels)
Pronounced as mi-tayo when it should be feleti mar-te-oh.

    3. Misi Taulapapa (Cronulla Sharks)
Should be pronounced Misi Toe-la-papa instead of tell ya papa.

    4. Iafeta Palea'aesina (Warriors)
    Or is it Ia-feka Parle-a-sina?

    5. Manu Vatuvei (Warriors)
    Or perhaps it's Manu Vatu-vay.

    6. Ephalahame Lauaki (Warriors)
    Or Ephalahame Low-aki.

    7. Manase Manuakafoa (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
Try saying Manase Manu-a-ka-fo-a without tripping up.

    8. David Fa'alogo (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
Pronounced David Fa-a-lor-gor or is that Fa-a-longo or perhaps there's a silent g?

    9. Roy Asotasi (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
    Too often pronounced Roy Arsor-ta-see

    10. Taulima Tautai (Parramatta Eels)
The Eels new winger certainly doesn't answer to Toe-lima Toe-Tai.

Thank you love for the invite!! Will keep it in mind...am planning on a trip some time next year (2011...lol...) to see Age - I talk to her all the time now on email or text and she hasn't changed a bit - and would love to catch up too now that the Tusitala has burnt to the ground I think we need to find a new place...but that'll be when we me.Sout Auckland crowd..hmmm-the Roebecks I go to lotu with!Tali-Aunty Laulepapa's niece that stayed with them back then, and then the odd one that stil attend South Auckland as I now attend Mangere-there was a split about twenty years ago or so as the church was getting way too small-and I love my small congregation.Manageable and no one to contend with-lol-as if-Stil Jesus lives.Am the stand in youth leader for this year and am really enjoying it.
Until next time my dear as I just got paged by an elderly aunt I promised to bring something for her.

    Heya!
Yeah, we will definitely have to catch up when Eks comes thru. She's bringing Abel's boys and taking them & Casey to the Akon concert to interview him?!? Needless to say, Casey is rapt!
Went to Costco about 2 wks after it opened - stupidly thinkin it wouldn't be so packed! Nah! I took one of my Nan's and the whole time she kept saying The Warehouse at Sylvia Park (NZ) was bigger and better and cheaper! LOL! I didn't bother looking around too much, I was on a mission for a huge jar of Best Foods. Unfortunately I never found it! :(
So glad your enjoying all Melbourne has to offer. I know nowhere is better than home, but Melbourne ain't too bad ;-)
Take care (I'll email phone number and such soon)
    Much luv
