Oh my days!!!
Well, on 19th December 2006, me and mum drove to Torquay to see Kemal in panto. The drive down was quite nice (we saw Stonehenge woo!), and the hotel was lovely. On the 20th, we went shopping in the town which was a bit rubbish but ohwellz, and went walking along the seafront. We went to Pizza hut for lunch, then i was literally exploding by the time we got to the theatre, everyone around me in the café looked so miserable, it was hilarious. Even the 5-year old sitting next to me in the theatre was giving me funny looks. The first time Kemal came onstage, I actually hyperventilated, and he used 4 Kemmy Catchphrases in his opening line! Woo!! In his classic phone call scene, he rang Nikki Grahame (BB7)up and did a fabulous impersonation of her which was hilarious. He sang Diamonds are a girls best friend, Material Girl and Dola Re Dola from Devdas (some random Bollywood film). Whenever he came onstage, I was really the only one cheering, but it always came out as a mangled squeak lol. Then they all sang the appropriate If You Wish Upon A Star, and there was this adorable dream ballet with magical ponies (all done by Kemal and his fairy god diva magic). At the end there was this lil 4-year old who went onstage to sing Twinkle Twinkle with Buttons (some random bloke off Emmerdale) - her Gran was sitting behind me in floods of tears, it was so sweet! Then Buttons made us all stand up and sing If Youre Happy And You Know It - I sang with more enthusiasm than all the kiddies there put together. Then the crucial bit - me and mum went to the stage door, and I was the only one there for Kemal. Then, when he came out the door, his lil face lit right up when he saw me and went "Luthien!" which was soo sweet. I gave him a lil pressie I made, and I got 3 photos with him and 2 hugs. I got 2 more autographs as well, one for my buddy and fellow Kemalite, Danni Marie. I asked him how Missblingbaby was going, and he said fabulous, then mentioned my lil dreamcatcher for the 4th time aww. Then he asked me how old i was and how far i'd come to which went really red standing there in my lil puffa jacket - then he said i was soo cute!!AWW. He was so sweet it was unbelievable; he had to rush off to catch a train home, but insisted to Simon Grant (CBBC presenter/Dandini) to stay to talk to me. It was utterly magical, even better than Portsmouth, so if anyone ever gets the opportunity if he does panto a third year, I thoroughly recommend it. It was the best christmas hols EVER woo!!
