Me? I'm a total smart ass, short, dry humoured, bookish person but what the hey, that isnt necessarily bad! I guess the best way to sum me up is that im quietly loud. I know, a complete contradiction of what u first see, and doesn't make sense all the time to a lot of people, but then, that would be my point. If u do actually get that 1st time im slightly shocked and amazed.
Right, what to say?
I have a family, who are great, and friends (you know who you are), who are brilliant.
I also have fish. in a pond - in case you're wondering. And my sis's 4 guinea pigs.
I hail from Barnstaple (s.w. england) which is wet most of the time, but has good beaches!
Ive just started at the University of Manchester, and it's the most fantastic place ever. Totally random and vaguely confusing, but brilliant. I'm reading English Lit - three years where I am forced to read - hell yeah!

Books

I LOVE reading anthing n everything - fantasy being the preference. big books. wiv maps. and kick ass characters. And dragons (though i can cope without em, they do rock). Besides that, pretty much anything with a decent narrative and interesting characters will keep me occupied for a good few hours. Yes - hours - that, m'dears, is how quickly I read your average book.

Films n TV

The LOTR films are brilliant...ooh, the old disney films rock the world (i no im a sad and lonely person). Shrek 1 n 2 (less the 3rd film): hilarious! Action movies are fun (who cares about the cheesy acting and cliches that go wiv most of em, the stunts are gr8!!), and sci fi - who else luvs minority report? Pan's Labyrinth is becomming an all-time-favorite. Stuff that makes you think is good - Hotel Rwanda, Shawshank Redemption....hell, i like practically everything! I'm loving Scrubs on TV (even if its only repeats), and Heroes - I miss it so much - it made my wednesday evenings. As spooks made my Tuesday evenings...until that finished as well. I hate soaps, apart from Home and Away, which just makes me laugh, its so stupid.

Sarcasm

Forget that whole lowest form of humour thing, sarcasm is gr8!!Only problem there can be is when the victim (i.e. the person on the receiving end of ur sarcastic remarks) is too thick to understand wat you're on about - a very depressing thing really. I'm lovely i am...really.

Swotishness

I'm also a swot - a complete undeniable nerd. Think Hermionie Granger without the magic, that is exactly how bad I am. But then, when I get good qualifications, a great jobs and pretty much what i want from life rather than worrying about...oh i don't know, what Posh Spice is wearing this week...well, who's gonna be laughing then?

Music

I like a bit of pretty much everythingy. Green day rocks, as does Pink - kick ASS. i am liking Christina Aguilera's album and Shakeira's, The Fray are good...Oh, and Vonda Shepard (who sings the soundtrack to the Ally McBeale series - if you havent watched it u should) is great. And i've recently discovered Caress of Steel by Rush - luving 'The Necromancer'! To the dismay of a number of my friends, I like quite a bit of RnB type stuff. I loathe boybands (yes, that includes Westlife) and Justin Timberlake.

Other Wierd Random Stuff

i collect glass animals n like finding dragon pics and writing - world famous author in the making (fingers crossed). Many people think i'm gonna be a politician because i find politics interesting but i dont think id be able to stick the back biting...i could do the undercover journalist thing though...watch out parliment! I am actually pretty political - if anyone's looking for a liberal feminist type, here I am (and, no, the fact I believe in women's equality does not mean I'm a dungarees wearing lesbian). What else? I'm terrible at having my pic taken - i blink when the flash goes off - any of me friends can vouch for that. Oh, and i want a pet dragon...........

guys who ask you if u want sum - LOOSERS! (but, gd retort being, sure, if you had some! hehe) ~
peeps who call me a druggie that aint m8s (who have license to make fun of me every so often) - um, hello, its medication! ~ being messed around. ~ ok, rant is now oficially over...until sum1 brings up the subject again......
