Ive met so many amazing people,there's few individuals i havent liked during my life so far.im just so astounded,so happy and excited,thinking of experiences ive had with all these people and the ones that are yet to come.i regret nothing.I know that sometimes I can be lazy and neglect my relationships with everyone,particularly my good friends for you are the people that ive grown with and have made me who i am.in a GOOD way!But its coming together right now.its people like those that gimme the support to do every single thing i do and I am warm with appreciation.Even to strangers and new things,i get rowled up just thinking of the things further up the road.

I am smiling as the best yet to come.

Once again this autumn, the glorious sound of guitars being strummed shall resonate around the gorgeous seaside town of Clonakilty. From the 20th to the 23rd of September some of Ireland’s and the world’s foremost guitarists will be in attendance at the Clonakilty International Guitar Festival - sponsored by Guinness.
First established in 2005 the festival is dedicated to the many subtleties and varying styles and techniques that attribute to the guitar being one of the worlds most versatile and influential of all musical instruments. Here in this beautiful location everything from bluegrass to blues, jazz to rock, folk to acoustic fingerstyle and everything else in between is catered for.

The festival which extends over four days has at its core all age performances, workshops and the hugely successful session trail which keeps the music going throughout the town for the duration of the weekend. In addition to this are guitar exhibitions feat: vintage and contemporary guitars as well as pedals and other guitar paraphernalia, a seminar on guitar making by world renowned luthier George Lowden, a lecture on the Alexander Technique for musicians.

There will also be a photo exhibition by legendary rock photographer Fin Costello that will display a choice selection of the many guitar heroes he has photographed professionally over the last 40 years from Gallagher to Hendrix.

The Johnny Keenan Banjo Festival is a "Celebration of Irish Traditional and American Bluegrass Music".

Each year during the festival, the town of Longford , in the centre of Ireland , is transformed into a haven for musicians and music lovers.

There are jams, sessions, busking, and concerts. Music is available in abundance all weekend long....on the streets, on the 'Market Square' stage (in the centre of town), in the pubs and in our nightly concert venues.

There are also master class workshops available for musicians of all levels.
