THE REAL MEANING OF CHEEKY
just had to tell everyone this story which is the meaning of 'cheeky'
so im at the wombats in the crowd and its pretty packed. im wearing an over the shoulder bag which has a zip. i keep on checking to make sure its shut when suddenly I look down and its open. i know instantly that my phone will be gone, but nevertheless me and morag look in my bag, pokckets, around the floor... you get the picture. i see a shifty looking dude with a massive rucksack edging away and i think to myself "there is the pickpocket himself!'.
so, i edge close to him and try to feel his pockets slyly to see if my phone is there. unsurprisingly, he keeps moving so i cant check. i turn back to morag, and just as i am about to make a plan of action, i see the guy kneel down whilst going into his pocket. as he rises up, he turns around and says to the girls behind him...
"i just found this phone on the floor is it yours?"
on the floor?? on the FLOOR!!!! he pretends to have found my phone on the floor when he stole, he STOLE it!!
