      so instead of annoying everyone with my 'oh my god ive lost x amount of pounds this week!', ive decided to use my blog. that way people can read it if they want. hurrah!

      so i started weight watchers with my mom two weeks ago. the weigh in was...special. the meeting is like a support group for the chubby. all the women and one man sit around in a circle and talk about the week they had losing weight and tips they have for the rest of us. it took everything i had in week one not to stand up and say 'hi, im elisa (hiii elisaaa) and im a fat bastard'.
      im going to just document the weight ive lost until i get to my target. fingers crossed i last that long!

      *week one: 6 pounds. woo!
      *week two: 2 pounds. got my silver seven this week. this means ive lost half a stone or more. very happy about that.
      *week three: 1.5 pounds this week. so that's 9.5 pounds so far. only another 4.5 pounds to the stone. hurrah!
      *week four: 1 pound. so 10.5 so far...3.5 and im down a stone. exciting stuff.
      *week five: 4 pounds. yes ladies and gentlemen...ive lost a stone in total. A STONE! i am one third towards my goal. go me!
      *week six: i put on 0.5 pounds. but that's ok. still down a stone and its only a minor setback.
      *week seven: lost 1 pound. woo! back in business and whatnot.
      *week eight: lost 1 pound. good work since i started working last week so didnt exercise at all! awoo!
      *week nine: lost three pounds. another two pounds to a stone and a half. go me
      *week ten: put up 0.5 pounds. very happy considering it was paddys weekend and i drank 5000 pints.
      *week eleven: lost 1.5 pounds. hurrah! but i realised that if i keep going the way im going, my chubby dance will be meaningless. how tragic!
      *week twelve: lost 0.5 pounds. perhaps if i dont drink ALL the beer in ireland this week, i'll make the stone and a half.
      *week thirteen: lost 4.5 pounds. reached my 10% goal and also im now at 1 stone 11 pounds. yes...i know...i rock...shh...ok fine...go on...tell me
      *week fourteen: up 0.5 pounds. oopsie! but i blame mostly food and sometimes pints. but...i still rock
      *week fifteen: lost 2 poounds. almost at the two stone mark...happy days.
      *week sixteen: umm...i skipped weight watchers this week...but i DEFINATELY put on weight so hopefully next week i'll lose it!
      *week seventeen: lost 2.5 pounds. back in the game people! back in the game.
      *week eighteen: i MAY have skipped this week
      *week nineteen: i MAY have skipped this week as well
      *week twenty: ok somebody make me go!!
      *week twenty one: i went! hurrah! lost 1.5 pounds. this means im down 2 stone and 2 pounds. huzzah!
      *week twenty two: lost 4.5 pounds. so far that's 2 stone 6 pounds. awoo!

      the flashbox up there is of the glenn miller orchestra playing american patrol. it is one of my favourite glenn miller pieces and this band play it very well.
      if anybody wants to buy me a present, send me to see this band play. thank you. (they only play the states so a two week holiday would be appreciated as well)
