Empty Streets [ 18/10/2007 ]

As i walk through these empty streets
all i can think about is you
as i continue to walk i spot a shadow
i run to it thinking its you
when i arrive it vanishes, and i start to think
maybe it was the shadow of our painful past love
the love that we once had for each other
as i continue to walk these empty streets alone
my phone starts to ring i pull it out
wishing the caller I.D would be you
i look at the screen and its no one
only my friend checking up on me
i was hoping that you would call and check on me
but i was wrong your love for me has died
as i continue to walk these empty streets
i hear my name being called
i turn around to see if it's you
in stead it just a crow sitting on a street lamp
