and apart from reading and tutorial preparation you pretty much have free reign on your time. I spend most of my nights in other people's rooms and end up going to bed at like 1, for getting up at 7. So I've been running on about 5 hours sleep for the past few weeks- probably why I still have fresher's flu It was AMAZING getting back to my double bed though haha.
And possible best of all- There IS an anime society
It was only set up this year (I like to think just for me ) so it's a great place to meet like-minded people.
There's a ghost tour of glasgow next week too which I am muchly looking forward to

Heh heh. Interesting timing...I think I was a few days from breaking and signing up for a yuwie account . I've recently been introduced to the loveliness of student finance and every penny helps
But life isn't bad at all thanks
I'm home just for this weekend; getting some more of my things (I hadn't been back for like 6 weeks and my room was basically empty because I went down to glasgow on my own and couldnt carry much ) and my bus back is tomorrow.
I'm LOVING uni life though. Made some awesome friends, and met a couple (i.e. one) not so awesome people. A word of advice Robin: beware overly charming people who molest you in public- they'll screw you over at a later date
Apart from that one bit of drama things are peachy. Lectures are pretty interesting and not as much work as they'd have you think
Only had a couple of essays to do so far- my next in due on the 14th of nov- continued on the next comment lol

Oh thats cool then...we'll just have to break up our convos into lots of little bits XD

Really enjoyed it though...and still managed to get all my books and things. I think you would really enjoy my classics class...we get to study the Odyssey (I'll have to learn t spell that right) and all the old greek legends etc. Should be fun

Fresher's week has been pretty immense...having to spend this weekend recovering So I really hope I can be bothered with lectures on monday lol!

Well my fish have gone in a serious huff with me. I think it was because I took the hoover a bit too close to their tank after I spilt their flakes, so Im desperately trying to coax them out and get thier trust back before I go on Friday. But since they're due a water change tomorrow, that'll probably make things worse
Have a movie night planned for tomorrow night, and depending how lazy Im feeling might wander down to the pub later. But it's a big maybe
Was also not impressed after finding out just how draconian the internet provider is at uni. You dont even get youtube
So you can either take the sucky standard version or pay 175 to (on top of the 4600 Im already paying for rent and 300 for transport)upgrade to a non filtered version. Excuse my french, but its fucking ridiculous.
Have lots of gaming and DVD nights in the works when I get down there tho. Wonder how much studying I'll actually get done?
