Its no laughing matter when good people get hurt,

At night before we drop to sleep, we think about you still,

All week I diet,
All week I starve,
Counting calories,
Avoiding carbs.

I take off my clothes,
and look in the mirror,
Devising more ways,
to make myself thinner.

I get on a treadmill,
I puff and I pant,
"I can't seem to shift it"
I say in mid rant.

But knowledge brings fear,
And this makes me think..
THERE'S 600 CALORIES,
IN EACH CIDER DRINK!!!

So "Fuck it" I say,
The weekend brings laughter.
"I'll have my ten pints,
And a take away after!"
