Former Bone Thugs-N-Harmony group member Bizzy Bone is preparing his third major label solo album titled A Song For You.
Bizzy, born, Bryon Anthony McCane II, was a member of the Grammy Award winning Cleveland rap group at the height of their success, contributing to albums like Creepin On Ah Come Up (1994) and E. 1999 Eternal (1995) The Art Of War (1997), albums that have sold over 20 million copies combined.
After a long battle with drugs and alcohol, the troubled rapper was kicked out of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony in 2002, when he appeared at a show at B.B. Kings in New York intoxicated.
Bizzy, an admitted recovering alcoholic and drug addict, insists he's finally ready to return to the Hip-Hop game.
"I can't wait for my fans to hear my new music," Bizzy Bone said. "For the first time in my life, I've truly been able to put aside all my demons and just focus on making the best music possible."
Personal issues kept the rapper from a highly anticipated reunion with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on their Swizz Beatz produced album Strength & Loyalty, which debuted at #2 on Billboard's Top 200 in May 2007.
"It s all love with Bone Thugs," Bizzy revealed. "I love and support what they're doing. If they ever need anything I'm right here to deliver. I wish them much success, peace and prosperity, as they are much deserving and I'm certain they reciprocate the same feelings for me."
A Song For You also features Bizzy Bone uniting on a track titled "Money" with one time Bone Thug detractor, Chicago rapper Twista, who has since made peace with his Midwestern brethren.
DMX, Jim Jones, Trina, Good Charlotte and others are featured on A Song For You, which is due in stores early next year.
"Don't believe what you've heard," Bizzy Bone said of rumors circulating about his well being. "I'm back, I'm bringing it and I'm here to stay.
A Song For You is due in stores before the end of the year.0 Comments 706 days

ABOUT
In 2006 Bizzy Bone signed a three album deal with Virgin Records and After Platinum. Bizzy Bone will be releasing his highly anticipated album, “A Song For You”, in 2007! In a recent interview when asked about “A Song For You” Bizzy had this to say, “The record is amazing and is probably the best record I've had the pleasure in being a part of. The production is just outstanding and I really put my heart into this album. Everything is not nailed down for the album, but we’ve got so many great songs. I've recorded songs with Twista, DMX, Jim Jones, Trina, Good Charlotte, and Chris Notez- who is an unbelievable singer. I am really looking forward to sharing this record with the world.”
Bizzy Bone started in hip-hop as a founding member of the group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. This Cleveland-based crew first caught the ear of N.W.A. member Eazy-E. They sold more than 25 million records. They won a Grammy. They ..ed hip-hop’s sonic direction. Simply put, the Cleveland quartet is one of the most important groups in hip-hop history. Their trademark double and triple-time sung/rapped harmonies brought something new to the table at a time when most acts were busy trying to imitate what was featured on Dr. Dre's The Chronic.
As a solo performer, Bizzy Bone is well known for his high-speed rhyme style and unique singing abilities. Continually writing and recording around the clock, he released his first solo album in 1998, the personal and introspective Heaven'z Movie. After receiving critical acclaim, Bizzy went on to write & release "The Gift" in 2001. Bizzy's work has been awarded by numerous respected groups, including an ASCAP Award, the Michael Jackson Soul Train Award, a Blockbuster Award, an American Music Award, and the NAACP - Back To School/Stay in School Youth Rally Award. He has become a member of Hip Hop's elite, collaborating with modern hip-hop legends such as Eazy-E, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G. as well as P Diddy and Snoop Dogg.3 Comments 706 days
