Have you ever heard about someone with a vision, with such an amazing calling on their lives that you can’t help seeing God with them? It’s awesome, seeing God shine through them.

The only thing is, sometimes you want your own calling. A call, something you have to do, for your own life.

Guess what. You already have one.

In Mark 16:15 it says ‘Then Jesus said to them, "So wherever you go in the world, tell everyone the Good News.” (GW)’

There is your calling right there. In another version, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation”

Your calling, every single person on earth’s calling, is to spread the Word of God.

That’s it as simple as it gets. All Christians are called to go out a spread the Gospel, and if you are reading this, odds are you are a Christian.

So here’s my challenge – start spreading. The worst thing that can happen is you might get turned down, but that’s nothing. Just go for it, give it all you have, and even some more above that. It’s surprising how much better you will get to know God through this.

In the chorus, there is a line, ‘One Way, One Life, One Truth.’

So go out, tell them about that One Way, One Life, One Truth.

Have you ever seen someone, maybe walking along the street, and thought ‘What a fake’?

Some people hide behind a face that is not theirs. Underneath, they could be anything, anyone. They could be completely different to who they look like. Who knows?

There are tonnes of reasons people hide. Some do it to escape childhoods of abuse and hate. Some, they do it to escape adulthoods of abuse. Some do it to fit in. Others do it to get away from the pain, and yet others do it to let go, be someone they don’t have to hate.

What annoys me personally is when other Christians do it. God made them who they are, and accepts them for who they are, Jesus even died for them, but they still insist on acting like someone else. Like the Hillsong United song says, ‘So wont you break free, wont you break free, get up and dance, in His love!

This is a message for anyone who is stuck in that cycle. If you don’t know who you are in God, then you need to think about that. God put you on this earth to do something; he has a plan for your life. And if you think of it this way, if you don’t step out and be yourself, you may not ever fulfil that plan.

I encourage you, if you are stuck thinking like this, talk to a pastor. Talk to a friend, or a youth leader. Just talk to someone, and get them to pray for you, or something like that. I don’t claim to be an expert, but I know this much, its better to be who you are meant to be rather than someone who you are not.
