''A PSNI detective inspector has denied stealing money inside his own police station.
Bryan Arnold Logan (43) whose address was given as C/o Antrim PSNI Station, appeared at Antrim court to face nine theft charges.
It is alleged that on various dates between December 2005 and January 2006 he took amounts ranging from £2 to £12.60 in cash belonging to the 'recreation Club' of Antrim CID office.
The amounts also included sums of £3.50, £4.50 and £6, and came to a total of £40.10.
Logan is also alleged to have stolen a bounty chocolate bar worth 30 pence.
The accused, pleaded 'not guilty' and the case was adjourned until next month.''
