About Me

Tagline
its hard out here for a pimp!
Me, Myself, and I
* IVE MADE MY PROFILE PICS PRIVATE DUE TO FAKES!! *

"Ever since i can remember ive bin poppin my collar"

I went to 13 different schools and was very lonely actually coz never had time to make proper friendships, music became my life line.

I listened to punk, ska and reggae when i was growing up thanks to my parents record collection.

We moved round London Shepherds Bush, Bloomsbury, Islington and i obsorbed all the music around me.

I got expelled from various schools and was sent to boarding school as they thought it would be a restraining influence, but I ran away to Glastonbury and other places when I was 14.

I was into jungle and drum and bass. It was obvious I didn't like authority.

I guess I knew from an early age that I could never do a job where I'd have to sit in an office all day long.

I left school at 15.
It was frustrating moving schools so much.

I wanted to write about my own world in an entertaining way... so i did!

Much luv, Lily xx

  • BIG DAY OFF :)

Yo people , Im writitng to you from our hotel in Gold Coast Australia . Were on tour here with the Big Day Out festival . Let me tell you , IT IS FUCKING AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!
It's so nice to be in the sun , and in the company of some really good people .
We left Japan and flew to New Zealand , where the first of the Big Day Outs was . My record company hired a boat for us when we got there and shipped us off to a BBQ at a private house on the beach . The boys went for a swim , while they weren't chatting up gorgeous 17 year old Home and Away types . This annoyed emily and I immensely so we hid their clothes in the trees while they were in the water , it was highly ammusing .
Shux ( our guitarist ) forgave me eventually , were friends now!

Emily , got really pissed and we left with Del and John , they came back to our room , Emily and I had an argument and then i went to bed . you can read Dels blog for details , its vaguely interresting . Those of you with myspace check out dels page... www.myspace.com/delfish .

The next day we played the boiler room of the BDO and it was amazing , we pulled a massive crowd and had so so so much fun . It's so much fun playing festivals again , its a completely different thing , and such a buzz . Then we went back to the hotel , everyone got hammered and I went to bed , I havn't had a drink since New Year , and yes it is boring . As Frank Sinatra once said " I feel sorry for people who don't drink , when they wake up in the morning it's the best they'll feel all day " SPOT FUCKING ON .

Onwards to Brisbane and the Gold Coast , after the flight I went out for dinner with some of the lads and then went to bed . I woke up to a right view this this morning check out the pic in my new zealand album.

I did a few interviews and then we played one of the best sets ever , I had half a beer with the audience to thank them , then Pip ( my tour manager ) took it off me as we came off!
It was trully amazing , thanks to everyone who came . It was one of the best Yet
In the afternoon I did a bit of promo and lazed about in the sun.
Then I did a photoshoot with Lupe Fiasco and Mike skinner , I am a big fan of both so it was nice to be included . Again theres a pic in my NZ album.

Oh yeah , I know everyones doing online campaigns to try and win the Brit AWard but I think thats a bit whack ( and not what this space is for ) `So ill just say I'm really pleased to be nominated . That is All .

    speak soon Lily xx
