- Well lets gt Started then... I am Shaun, I am 20 years old, I am Originally from Nottingham but now I am Live in Edinburgh, I am into Ice Hockey I love the sport its brillant. I am really into my Comedy programmes and films, I always like a good laugh. At the moment I am working for a bank as a Customer Advisor, I am loving it and the staff are brillant to get on with and always have a laugh. R.I.P Brightest Star
Three-year-old Amelia Lipscombe-Curtis died in Great Ormond Street Hospital last Thursday, following a car crash in which her step-grandfather Leonard Austin was killed.
The crash happened on Saturday, February 3, on the A414 at Hylands Park. Amelia was transferred to Great Ormond Street with serious head injuries, from which she later died.
Her family's tribute described Amelia of Church Road, Boreham, "as a very friendly little girl who had a great passion for animals".
The statement went on: "She loved visiting Colchester Zoo and feeding the giraffes."
Amelia attended Tumbletots playgroup and pre-school, where she always made lots of friends.
She was, "polite, loving, smart and kind and touched the hearts and souls of everyone she met. She will be missed by so many people."
Amelia was in the car with her mother and grandmother Jean when the crash happened. Both mother and grandmother have left hospital .
The family said Amelia had a vast imagination and enjoyed reading, painting and dressing-up.
"She was always learning by asking questions of her big family. She was a daughter, a grand-daughter, a great grand-daughter, a cousin and a niece," they added.
"Everyone treasured her dearly for her big heart and it was from these qualities she charmed everyone.
"We love her, we miss her and she will always be the brightest star in the sky."
