I'm just going to start a 3 month contract as a clerical officer for the Housing Executive in Ballymena. I'm going up in the world from being an admin assistant and a shop assistant before that in the past year. Used to work within the Stormont estate, had to get up at 6 o'clockish but the travelling on trains and buses wasn't boring in the least! Life is pretty good at the moment. Was in Germany once again for summer holidays and one day I'll get my full driving licence (those two don't have much to do with it the last thing I said).... update: I've passed my driving test!!!

I would listen to Johnny Cash, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, Kings of Leon, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Meatloaf, Alanis Morissette, TLC, Destiny's Child, Norah Jones, Bryan Adams, Shakira, Creed, TLC, Third Day, All Saints, Rob Thomas, Cher, The Kooks, The Eagles and much more. I've a varied taste and I've been to see Delirious?, Santana, The Backstreet Boys, George Michael and Pink in concert - all pretty cool! lol & Kanye West which was ok.

usually watch dramas & horror movies wif the odd comedy & action/adventure in there.
dnt wtch muc TV bt ova t lst fw yrs I av wtchd Twin Peaks, The Sopranos, The Apprentice, house programmes, travel series & Forensic Detectives (oh I'm suc a nerd). I'm sur der r lots of otha gud dramas out der.
movies I like include Hot Fuzz, Pineapple Express, The Lives of Others, The Kite Runner, Jarhead, American History X, Girl Interrupted, A Gentleman and an Officer, Gone with the Wind, American Beauty, The Lion King, The Breakfast Club, Forrest Gump, The Wedding Crashers, The Virgin Suicides, The Beach, Howl's Moving Castle, What's eating Gilbert Grape?, Slumdog Millionaire and a few Natalie Portman movies. dnt often wtch a movie twice & avent sn all the movies I wud lik 2 c so it hrd 2 knw sumtimes whic movies r favourites of mine lol, oh & I've cn sum gd movies on TV t the lst yr 4 3, includ In Good Company and Parenthood, ha suc a contradiction frm above
Sports
swimming cycling and badminton (as opposed to tennis which involves balls too hard for me to hit haha). hey canoeing and kayaking have just come into my mind lol.

any sports which don't include coordination too lol
I'm also used to long distance walking and I'm not very athletic but not that poor at running

 , CATS, people who r reliable, nt havin heard any1 shout4t day.fins I dislike-men who shud accept u as u r, people not understanding u or caring2listen2to me fully, snobs(&people who fink other people r snobs jus by their appearance), British soaps(giv me head peace), &me@times, overly sweet foods, t government who fink they can Big Brother ppl(helicopters hovering at night (I have very good ears u c!-v. bad eyes tho&smell, finking dat dey can jus add exams2childs education@every age, webcams everywher, war(I'm turning2pacificism)

when with my friends. when at concerts, when I find beautiful clothes which fit. when I look at nice landscapes and get to see new cities, cool photographs, being in the presence of beautiful men. when dancing. when I'm awake and well slept. when I'm in a church. when I'm swimming, playing badminton, on the beach, climbing a mountain, I like being out and about. when I'm eating - a simple pleasure in life. when it's my birthday, Christmas, when I get a compliment (people are self centred it's human) when I smell coffee or sexy aftershave. when my scars appear like they are fading. when my hair sits well (and often happy after I get it cut). listening2other people talk and at times I enjoy talking over other people (don't mean to) when I can relate/get excited. possibly, when I find a job which appeals to me and I get accepted for it.&sometimes when I found out I was wrong (yes, this is often good!!), when I'm watching a good movie with a decent storyline
Fears!
didn't fink I was scared of muc cause nt scared of spiders, wasps&bees, heights, walkn@nite etc. generally.howeva Ive found ova t pst yrs ders always plenty!!
I can be q.claustrophobic! gettin locked in a bathroom has bn1of the scariest things in my life especially if the room is only the width of my height lol. also scared wen t safety barriers go dwn on rollercoasters etc.
scared of snakes2a certain extent - found dem wen goin4innocent walks in t backyard on hol - vineyards etc.&u cn even find dem up mountains&huge@dat! dnt stop walkin ppl2decide whic path2follow!
also cows which stare@u&then chase aftr u even wen u go in2t next field!nt all cows bt sum r scary&people ave bn known2av bn killed my bulls&nt far away from u eitha!
biting into lollies - gives me tooth freeze watchn otha ppl do it makes me feel t same even.

    hey ellen! just back from italy ther last tues! we ended up walkn 180km in 8 days so it was tough goin! just reali glad i did it tho coz i got my scoutin award so im al chuffed! awh hapyp days you've got a job! thats class! i still havent had any luck on that front but at least i've got somethin 2 keep me in the money until i find a 'proper' job! lol! x

    have been doin two research topics so far! one is a business needs analysis which is to find out what areas business need help with then report to council and see if can get any funding for! the other is the draft area plan which didnt designate disperesed rural communites which should be so i have to show that they are! its real interestin !lol!
    all what your doin is what i did at the start of placement! lol! its good too! that a nice job u got!
