What is a Rebel ?
IS it someone who defy the society he or she lives in ?
Is it someone who creates their own trends ?
Or is it someone who wants to change the world ?
As christians we see a rebel as bad news, and and someone who does not fit in with the "CHRISTIAN" lifestyle.
Man i got a news flash for you, The BIBLE Is filled with REBELS. and their not the one who defies god. But their the ones who carried out gods plans. The disciples, Paul, Steven was a rebel who died for his belief. There are so many rebels in the bible that we can learn from. The most impacting rebel is none other than JESUS CHRIST. Yeah you read'n this right, the facts are right in the bible. Jesus defies the Jews and their laws so he could preach the word of god. He did miracles where they said they were not. And most importantly he died as a rebel. Not because the high priest got their way. But it was his fathers plan. Thats a rebel can die for his belief. (Are we willing to that ? We'll see down the line.)
As far I can see Jesus is the DEFINITION of rebel. SO my brothers and sisters, befor you judge the modern day rebels liike the : punks, goths, and the skaters.
you should look at yourself real carefully. Because If you want to be like christ you should REBEL AGAINST THE WORLD ?
