Best drunken story ever(even better than Pete's cards)
Althought this is told in the first person, unfortunatly it's not me it happened too.
Drinking solidly for 7 hours after an exam at Uni. 20 of us trooped down to Laserquest. I hid behind a barrel picking people off until I was rumbled. Was chased about until I saw an escape route up a dark corridor. Hid in it until I heard someone running behind me. I started to run up the corridor until I saw someone ahead of me. Just put my head down and ran as fast as I could past the person but stuck the heid right into them.
We both fell to the ground, my head was spinning as blood started to fill my mouth. I had sunk my teeth into both my lips, my nose was pishing blood and I already had quite a lump on my forehead.
I asked the other person if they were OK. There was no reply. I lifted my head and could see them flat out through the murky darkness. I slowly picked up my laser gun and started to shoot at his chest pack thing. They then started doing the same. We ended up in a frantic struggle He was firing at me furiously and I had to stick my foot in the air to stop his lasers from hitting me. I finally managed to hit him, the chest plate thing flashing in the dark. I slowly placed my shoulders and head back on the ground as the dizzyness started to really kick in. At this point I realised that my knee was aching and I had a pain in my foot from slamming into this poor guy.
I called out again "Are you OK mate?" Still silence. I was worried now.
I slowly dragged myself up into a sitting position to see a groggy shambles sitting in front of me looking very sorry for themselves. I spoke again, this time to say sorry.
It was at this time I realised I'd ran into a fucking mirror!
I spent 4 hours at the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow with concussion, a broken nose and broken big toe.

James Smith33 weken geledenEver wondered what it would be like to play senior footy?
Nows your chance, four of the Beechwood players did last time and I am sure you will get glowing reports from them.

1. A small tour of the stadium.
2. Team talk (optional from the managers) and stripped in the proper home and away changing rooms.
3. Roughyly 80 mins on the Forthbank pitch playing.
4. Game will have a ref and 2 linesman.
5.Playing in front of some the Stirling support
6.Wear the official strips
7.Free 4 page programme with name and head shot in there of yourself.
8.Photos of the game on Redweb and possibly being sold for you to buy as a keepsake.- TBC
9. The game being possibly being filmed and the potential to buy this at a later date.
This game will be played as close to what it would be like to play for the Binos.

"i love it when a plan comes together." -
Doug47 weken geledenvery true. i think alan and ally have their fingers on the proverbial pulse more so than i do. we should pick a saturday or sunday afternoon, head out for a burger and a beer and just see where it takes us. fear and loathing! only, well... hopefully more pleasant.

Doug47 weken geledenhaha, appologies man, when i get stoned on school-nights i become somewhat gullable. i don't know, open invitation? i think it's long overdue. think we could bluff our way into the union?
-
Doug47 weken geledenare you really emigrating? what's the sketch? a baird themed night needs to be on the cards promptly. after bumping into you in town and discussing the prospect i promptly got ripped, fell over and broke my leg. that might have been the same night actually... anyway, up fer it?
ps: the royal we video on your page gave me untold pleasure. -

James Smith51 weken geledenHi mate
The bus for this Saturdays trip to East Fife is at 12-40 and 12-45pm, cost is £8 and £5 for kids/oaps,etc.
If you are going to the Arbroath away game on Saturday 27th December, then this bus will need to be paid in advance due to the demand. This is a fantastic trip and the bus leaves at 9.55am and 10am. Cost for this is £10 and £6 for kids/oaps,etc.
We will be going into the Weatherwpoons on arrival again, this time the theme being "Save The Whale" so try and wear some sort of themed clothes (not necassary).
This bus needs to be paid for Saturday 20th December, so give me a shout (Mif- Safeway end, last section, 3/4 way up) to pay for it if your coming.
Let me know asap if you are so I keep seat(s) for you. Cheers -
