- CLANCY are based in West London. They make quirky, melodic pop with edgy lyrics. Their cosy recording studio is on the third floor of an extinct industrial laundry.
They've been together since February 2006.
Lead singer SHARON CLANCY is from Wexford, Ireland. She also rides a motor-bike and plays drums - seldom at the same time.
KATIE is a brilliant, energetic junk-percussionist and backing singer who has just joined CLANCY.
The multi-talented NIKKI has just joined to play live keyboards
Acoustic guitarist CHRIS has been an actor, a novelist and a lobster fisherman. He plays a mean Cabassa, too.
STUART plays Guitar and Bass, PETE plays Keyboards, and they both produce and engineer CLANCY's songs.
CLANCY are recording their first album, and started playing live in London on October 16th. More October, November & December dates listed on the left.

Four new CLANCY tracks - Check these out!
Hello, everyone;
Again it's been far too long since I had time to update our Bebo page, but it's been really, really busy, what with live work all over the place, doing my TV Quiz presenting, writing and recording new tracks in our studio, and me moving home yet again! On top of it all I had a problem with my vocal chords, and had to stay completely silent for over three weeks, which almost killed me!
Speaking of new tracks, I'd love you to listen to our latest four songs - "BEAUTIFUL CREATURES", "FIT", "BING BANG BONG" and "BUTTERFLY ON THE MOON", and let us know what you think.
You'll also see I've had some new photos taken, too, which I really like.

CLANCY gig, Tuesday 24th October
Anyone else wanting to come along to tomorrow night's gig at the Cobden Club in Kensal Road should email us with their names before 3.30pm on Tuesday so we can put them on the guest list.
The Cobden Club is a private member's club, so all non-members have to be signed in by a member.
Hope to see you all our new Bebo friends tomorrow!

Hi! It's been a bit quiet on this page lately because we've been hard at work working on the two latest songs - "Levitate to Pink" and "Where Does It Hurt?", and rehearsing hard with our two new band members Nikki (Keyboards) and Jess (Bass), getting ready for our first live gig on October 16th.
