yeah I guess that could sum most of my shit up.
life resembles a meh-go-round.
It would probably go a little like this-
We're all rushing towards the ride,
our eyes set on the most majestic horses
The ones with the fanciest saddles,
that move up and down quicker than any others.
Luckily some people trip over,
Delighted in their misfortune
I reach the ride first,
my hands grab onto a very handsome horse,
It's white, with a golden saddle. It has one of those
smiles that look like a frown; or is it the other way..
The ones that fell behind manage to find some good ones too-
but no where as good as mine.
I turn to mount my horse, proud of my find,
what's that sticker on it's back;
Out of Order, yeah
Just my luck
Where the hell is a spare horse, now that everyones found one.
Okay so this one is right in the centre next to the mirrors.
The mirrors are put there as a constant reminder that
you got the shittiest seat-
I can handle it this time round.
so what if my horse is small and brown with no saddle,
and there's no mistaking it,
this horse is laughing;
at me maybe.
Big fuckin deal, let's get this ride over with.
Except it never ends,
it's been going for so long now,
and I feel myself getting sick.
this damn pole only moves up once every rotation,
in the exact same place,
everyone elses head is in the way.
I can't see anything,
I can't even see my own world turning,
Just feel it inside-
But that's not how it's suppose to work.
Why do I put myself through this?
What is stopping me from just getting off?
Because it was just a metaphor you asshole,
there is no merry-go-round,
it's just you and your life, you control it.
You force yourself to make the same mistakes
over and over and over until
you just get used to the scenery.
Am I talking about myself here-
Maybe I am.
But lucky for me, like that first horse, I have
one of those smiles which look like a frown;
Or is it the other way.

Whatever, I'll just sit here and stare at my reflection then.
One day it's bound to stop,
Blah, eat shit devil.

If I could see you all right now,
If I could catch a glimpse,
I'd see smiling eyes-
a blur of passing lives
with exciting stories to tell;
they're all intertwined with eachother-
but none of which I am involved,

none of which I hear.
