#1 Most of your friends play the bagpipes
#2 You do fingerings on everything, including food (chicken legs!), pens, pencils...
#3 People are annoyed that you do so many fingerings.
#4 You don't care
#5 When your mom and sister are taking forever in the clothing stores, you practice marching up and down the aisles humming your piobaireached and other competition tunes.
#6 Everywhere you go, everything you do, you're humming a tune.
#7 You feel depressed if you don't get to play your pipes/practice chanter for over an hour each day
#8 You spend so much time on maintenance for your pipes your mom use to say, "He doesn't have time for a girl friend, his pipes are his girl friend." :lol:

1.You sit in English class with another piper from the band sitting next to you, and each of you takes a turn fingering a tune-- and you play "Name that Pipe Tune" across the aisle.*
2. You are sitting in class and your teacher asks you the name of the first president, and you shout out CRUMLUETH!!!!
3. Casual Fridays at the office finds you in your Kilt-- AGAIN.
4. You can no longer distinguish your perfume/colone from Airtight Bag seasoning.
5. You start eyeing the cat, thinking "I wonder how airtight his hide would be?"( Meooowww)

1) you always think you hear pipes far off in the distance and you drive around trying to find them and never do

2) you keep talking about piping even when people are rolling their eyes walking away

3) you make your office mate listen to pipe music all day long because you have the computer with the speakers!

4) you wake up super early to practice before people come to work even though you're a night person, even on Saturdays

5) you can't fall asleep at night because you're so excited about practing the next morning

6) your wife looks shocked that you're rehemping the joints on your bagpipes again this week

7) you keep trying to justify why buying a kilt, gillies, kilt hose and jacket on the visa card wouldn't really be a bad thing even though you haven't paid off your pipes yet (it is SO hard to have self control- oh yeah, that would be because I'm obsessed with piping!)
