- Well, after recently finding out that I had a bebo stalker who gave up because my profile was so boring I thought I might actually write something here.
My name is Mark. I am currently making a balls of everything I try in a chemistry PhD program, although from what I can tell, so is everyone else.
My interests include whatever I put down in the column on the right of this section.
My dislikes include, but are not limited to, almost all forms of advertising, all forms of reality tv, all soap operas, the way the country is run in almost every respect, gimmicky pieces of shite, food that isn't vegetarian because some arsehole decided that every one wants colours made from crushed beetles or gelling agents made from pigskin in their goddamn sweets, creationism, people who use an overabundance of internet lingo and think this makes them cool (smileys or lol are ok, any more than that and you're a spanner :p ) and the fact that I have just ran out of spa

Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up every two hours?
If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?
Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are flat?
Why do banks charge a fee on "insufficient funds" when they know there is not enough?
Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?
Why do they use sterilized needles for death by lethal injection?
Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
Whose idea was it to put an "S" in the word "lisp"?
What is the speed of darkness?

Great! The first two weeks of august don't suit me and the first couple of days of july don't either. any other time is good I think. I should have less work to do after I get back in august, but if it suits you better to come before that it's OK.

Heya? How is life? I take it from my last post below that it must be 34 weeks since I've seen you. What news?!
You should come over to London sometime if you can. It's impossible to talk properly via something like bebo (which is why I don't). Don't be afraid to bring people.

No magic in ages. I don't have anyone to play with. There are tornaments and the like, But I can't be bothered. I havn't found anyone who plays casually, or who is worthy of being taught!
There aren't any card shops in central London that people actually play in either. You?
Good luck with your end of year report. I hope your project is going well too. Hopefully I might see you in a few weeks. Talk soon anyway.

Hey, thats pretty good. Which part was it? I got to go to New York a few weeks ago. Unfortunately it was to work my ass off at a government lab out on long Island for about 5 days.
I did take the weekend after we were finished to go into Manhattan though, and that was really cool. Pictures to follow soon, if I get around to putting them up!
I'm going to Teneriffe on the 18th too, for a conference. There's a field trip up the volcano, so I'm looking forward to it. I do have to do a poster, but it's nearly finished and it's a pretty simple one anyway as I have no results yet.
I have'nt been back to Ireland since easter. I'm planning to come back in october for a week or so, don't know the dates yet. Hopefully I can spend a few days in Dublin, so I might see you.

Hey, I don't know if your interested, but i came accross this place the other day...http://www.modelsinc.ie/ Look for Magic in their forum section. They have 4 hour sessions every friday and the Shadowmoor prerelease event will be there on the 19th.
Dorset st. is just beyond Parnell square, in case you were wondering. The place in Crow St. seems to be closed, so if you feel like looking for ppl to play against this might be a good bet... -

Heya, how r u? I don't have much news really. I finally found somewhere to live! its relatively near the collage so thats good. I was back in Ireland for a few days at Easter, though I wasn't in Dublin, (except passing through!) Sorry, that I didn't get time to call in, It was all very last minute and depending on whether I got the accommodation sorted out.
I probably won't be back again til at least May. Though hopefully I'll be better organised then!
So any news your end?
By the way my last comment looks quite lonely all on it's own.....
