A Car For A Year!!
Yeah, I won a car April.26.08!!!!
its a 2008 Ford Focus!!! it looks sooo coool, its black!!! it come with satelite radio!! (<-that feature is only available for the first 6 months) other than that, its wicked!!! I can't wait to get it on monday!!! awww, man, when I sat in it I didn't want to step back out! but monday isn't soo far away, thats when they said to go and do all the paper work......
anywho, ya'll probably wonderin' how I won it....
well, we ordered delivery from Boston Pizza one night, long time ago, and the purchase had to be within a price range, I forgot how much.....anywho, the delivery chick asked if I wanted to be entered into their draw, so I said yeah, filled out the entry form........ now seeing the entry form it had tires on it, so I figured it was for car accessories, which didn't really matter to me at the time because I didn't have a car nor my license at the time....and I get a call months later saying that I'm one of the finalists to win the car and that the final draw for the car will be done on April 26th..so I was like, ok, the entry form was for a car?? and she said yeah, its to use our delivery car for a year, so I was like, k, cool, wheels are wheels and I'm not that picky....so since then I've been soo excited.....
and today April 26th, in the beginning of the day, I started doubting that I wouldn't win...b/c there were 11 other finalists that were there to participate in the draw at 3pm....and I couldn't get off of work till 5 pm....then the lady calls me at work askin' if its alright if some-1 could step in for me, and I said yeah.......so at about 4 pm I got another phone call saying that I won the car for a year!!! I was like cool!!! huh??? I won?? and she said yeah, you did, the young man we had step in for you picked the right key....and I was like awsome, soo coool!!! so I was soo anxious to get off work after that.....when I got to Boston Pizza I was nervous, we walked in, and Stephy came to the front to congradulate me on winning the car, and I said thanks, so who do I have to talk to about that, she said her manager, so she went to get her, and I was like ok....(so excited) we walked out to the car and the lady said, guys this is marlena she's the one that won the car I met all the people who were involved in the contest, and thanked them soo much for it......and I was like yeah, this is sooo coool, I wanted to go all nuts, but I kept my cool....lol, then I was able to meet the young man who was there to win me my car, his name is Tyler and he was one of the (line) cooks who works there, and I shook his hand and said your awsome!! thank you soo much.......he was like yeah, your welcome, then he told me he got a free beer outta it........it was cool....like I said up there, after I sat in it, I didn't want to get outta it...
