First things first, I LIVED a life in computers but i do not follow geek stereotypes (white polo shirts, lisps, glasses etc). Even with that backgrond i've chosen to downplay
Secondly Umm.. anymore details- I'm definetly not a typical teen so dont expect me to ve impressed by action films cause i'm into more intelligently written films which explains my dislike for the new star wars trilogy.
Music
I used to like simple plan (now i hate them), These days my music tastes are satisfied when i listen to Pink Floyd (R.I.P. Syd Barret), Blink 182 and ABBA. I also loved the Lion king sound track oh and did i mention 8-bit weapon.

Note: Regarding the mention of 8-bit weapon, most of the bands i listen to are ones that i've heard about purely from the net. The reason being is that most music video shows and radio stations only play stuff that is supported by large coorporations like Sony BMG. The commercial nature of this music means thats its geared towards the mainstream audieneces and therefore its void of artistic meaning. Some bands like Good Charlotte update their image (or better known as selling out) so they can maintain their contracts, audience appeal and be competitive with other bands, in this case Good Charlotte had to throw out their punk image in favor of an Emo one.

In contrast non-commercial music does not get much support and is much more culturally diverse .
Films
Hate most films out there though I do enjoy The Lord of the rings, Star Wars (original trilogy, the new ones suck), Indiana Jones, the Lion King The Matrix ( Contrary to what many people think , they are very clever if you pay close enough attention). Batman Begins and The Dark knight
Games
Legend of zelda, Doom, The Secret of Monkey island, Lego Star wars II, Carmegeddon, Rayman, Sam and Max season 1.
Hobbies/interests
Keyboard, Linux, Music, Msn, Tennis, Columbine high massacre, blogging and various other things
Happiest When
I'm free to write whatever i want, my friends are over, when months of hard work finally pay off.

  • Matrix = Windows + Linux

    You know the matrix story can be a metaphor to the OS war between Windows and Linux. If you think about it, Windows (the matrix) preys on almost every user in the pc market. The user (slave) is unaware that windows does not teach you about how an OS works, therefore does not "free" the user from its bare bones desktop. Microsoft (the machines) is aware that some users have stumbled upon Linux (the real world).

    Microsoft then proceeds to make a deal with almost every pc company (agents) creating a vender lock in that stops other users from discovering the truth. The job of the companies is now to make sure that everyone buys a pc instead of building one will get a copy of Windows pre-installed, so Microsoft can gain Market share (make batteries to continue production).

    Meanwhile Linux users (The One) learn of about the power of root (manipulate the system.

    Check that the internet connection is shared through Vista(>:( ) if it is conencted and shared by the Vista machine. Run teh network setup wizard again on the XP machine, and see if Vista has changed the settings on the router, if your using on, as for the ping thing. Running off that I would say to configure Internet explorer/everything else to connect again a different way, due to an update in the nerwork.
