- Circus school is pretty much all I talk about at the moment!
Am on a fitness kick in preparation (need abs of steel by start of August!) which is kind of erratic and swings between going really well & extreme laziness!
Am also going to pole dancing lessons which are great fun & all helps towards the ultimate circus goal! Everyone should try it, its fantastic!

- 25/4/07 - Dropped phone in bowl of cereal this morning - it sank :-(
Have cleaned it up with a baby wipe - here's hoping it keeps working!
11/05/07 - tried to post pic for kinnon on his white board - took 3 attempts as it ended up on Jules page, then mine first! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 13/05/07 - Whilst sailing, managed to pass tiller (long steering stick bit) THRU back of bouyancy aid when changing direction - i got tangled in it & had to get the power boat to come "rescue" me from my plight!

Circus School
I'm going to Circus School for 2 weeks in the Summer & am WELL excited!
This is the best thing EVER!
Am totally looking forward to the Trapeze, Aerial Hoop, Tissu, Spanish Web, Corde Lisse and Spanish Pole! The tight wire I am less than enthusiatic about given my appalling sense of balance but i'll give it a shot!

Karaoke with a live band!
Last night we went to Karaoke where instead of some crappy backing tape you got a real band playing for you instead!
All i can say is...
Give someone a microphone & they think they can sing...
Give them a band and they BELIEVE they are Rock Stars!
So so so so funny!
(oh, apart from the group who thought they were Britney Spears... I'd like to hit them baby MUCH more than one more time!)

A chuff-ing strange night out...
Was out for a few quiet drinks with Simon last night to celebrate his turning older. A Tuesday night starting in Ma's & heading to the Globe would no doubt be a mild and uneventful evening mid-week in the Deen, or so you would think...
It would be just before leaving the Globe that the evening would take a turn away from this path & hence become known as "a chuff-ing strange night out".
On deciding that a trip to the "ladies" would be in order before starting the short walk home, it would be the beginning on the first "chuff-up"!
For anyone not familiar with the ladies toilets in the Globe - upon entering you are facing the sinks and a large mirrored wall above them for all our hair/make-up emergencies, opposite the sinks would be 2 of the 4 toilets.
As i walked into the ladies this fine evening, imagine my surprise at the reflection that greeted me! A middle aged woman was standing with the toliet door wide open facing the mirror with her pants down round her ankles & her old-lady chuff giving a full frontal display! She did have the good grace to shut the door after her chuff practically winked at me but i was left standing with my mouth wide open for a moment whilst my brain registered that Yes, that really IS what it had seen!
After going back upstairs, telling the story to Simon & laughing about it,(kind of in earshot of the flasher lady) it was time to go our seperate ways and head home.
As I neared home and rounded the last corner to my flat I heard a kind of scuffle next to the wheelie bins. Imagine my surprise when turning my head to see what the commotion was, i was greeted with a view of my second chuff of the evening...
Yes ladies & gentlemen, 2 fine members of the Aberdeen community were going at it on the ground behind the wheelie bins! They both seemed shocked to have been seen and the kind young man jumped away from his lady friend leaving her displayed in all her glory. I imagine the next time they decide to add a little al fresco excitement to their lives, they'll take more care to ensure that their temporary love nest can't be seen from round the other side (the fools)!!!
Ahh, what a classy street i live in!!!

yeah i know i really want to come back over but i don't have that thing called money. i just quit my job cause they were paying my shit! anyway, hopefully i can find something or find someone to pay for me to go over there. anyway, things are good here. i have a good tan going because it's freakin hot! Cat - Pole Pursuits

There is a ladies night in Sin on Thursday and me and Allison will probably be dancing about all night so you'd be welcome to come along and play. There's also Chippendales and and Ann Summers stuff happening which would probably be a laugh.
