- Formed in 1985 Guns N' Roses were the offspring of two bands: LA Guns and Hollywood Rose. Their 1st album was Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide which didn't really hit the big time and all of the tracks were featured later on the album GN'R Lies.
GnR shot to fame when Appetite For Destruction hit it big with such songs as Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City and probably GnR's most famous song Sweet Child o' Mine. Appetite For Destruction has sold over 90 million copies since.

CHINESE DEMOCRACY VERDICTS???
Ok, we've had some time to listen to it. We've had time for it to grow on us. So let me hear you verdict?
I feel that it's exactly what I expected. It's just been overworked. Pushed too hard and too far for too long. I'll admit that I quite like the song Chinese Democracy, but that is about it. The rest of the album just doesn't feel like gnr. When I think GNR I think rawwwness, I think a spit in the face followed by a "Fuck you!"
