Here's one for the fucking insane pile!

So, i went to see chris pontius (from jackass) and his band in the Roisin Dubh last night. The place was buzzing waiting for him, but i spotted him wearing a beanie hat in the backstage area.

I had my busking guitar with me and i didn't want to be lugging it around the roisin all night, so i asked chris pontius if he wouldn't mind if i kept it in the backstage area whilst i watched the gig.

Five minutes previously, he and his manager were talking about a replacement for the support band, who had "bailed on them" so they decided to find a busker to support them on stage.

So anyway, i asked him if i could put my guitar backstage and he said "yeah man, thats cool, hey, by the way, you wanna support us too?"

So i ended up supporting Chris Pontius in the Roisin Dubh, and got a pretty good reaction. I could even be on TV!

Went busking then and made €160!

Just one of those great days!
