- Shane O Connor resides in the Southside of Cork city.
At the tender age of 18 he has already got three years of djing under his belt.
Like most aspiring young djs, Shane, has got a family and personal background in music, his brother is a member of one of Irelands biggest soul-funk bands, "Cartoon".
He can play the piano and the guitar...two key fundamental instruments in modern and classic music.
He worked hard to finance his very first set of decks and thus learned the value in them.
Shane has also got a keen interest in radio. Finding local pirate radio stations to be a fitting medium to reach people with similar music tastes.
His taste in music?...mainly trance. He has a passion for the adrenaline rush to be gained by this type of music and is determined to thrive in this area.
Influences include Armin Van Burren, John O Callaghan, Byran Kearney, Eddie Halliwell, Marco-V and Lisa Lashes.
One man in particular that he has had the pleasure of working along side is John Gibbons. John has given Shane a great deal of advice and support on the industry and remains a
good contact for him.
Shane has also completed a production course in the Sound Training Centre, Dublin.
He continues to do what he does best along with producing tracks that are somewhat different to what seems to be the
industry standard, his own style...
