Hailing from the mythical land of Kinmundy, Aberdeenshire, Captain Face play a brand of music that is best described as...'good'.
Individuals lucky enough to have witnessed their groin-thrustingly outstanding live performances have reported experiencing overwhelming feelings of euphoria coupled with the insatiable urge to shake their boot-ays. This phenomenon has been dubbed 'The Face Effect' by scientific experts.
In 2007 the band have released THREE singles and toured across the UK. The single SMALL JOY made it onto Radio 1's playlist and an album is prepped for 2008.

the summer's on its way out which means the FACE are waking from their booze-induced comas and returning to the live circuit.
We'll be onstage at around 10.30 Friday night at the Fat Hippy Showcase in Drummonds where we'll also be punting our brand new YOUR FACE IS SHIT t-shirts - buy one and let all those you love know that their features are indeed turd.

For those prepared to bide their time before resuming rocking...we salute you!
Rumours have been rife that the mighty face, whilst working on tracks for their still forthcoming debut album, had disappeared up their own arses in a search for their muse.
Shots of Joseph ’Norwegian Fist’ Moore being carried out of the Met Bar last Monday appeared in the Daily Star and did nothing to help stem the flow of suggestions that the band were proceeding to blow their £7 million advance from Fat Hippy Records on good times and loose women.
The Star reported that Moore downed seven babyschams in succession and promised the entire bar that if they followed him to the local BP garage he would spring for All Day Breakfast sandwiches and peperamis for all.
Meanwhile drummer Joe Brew has finally been accepted back into the fold after Lee ’Axl’ Morrison chastised the sticksman for taking an "unnecessarily long" 3 day hiatus following the birth of his first child. Speaking from a 10-day break in Las Vegas, the ranting string plucker spat, "it’s a fookin disgrace! I’m fed up of the blatant lack of commitment from some members of this "band". Look, i’ll actually make the inverted comma sign with my fingers so that you know that i’m being sarcastic."
Hat fan Dave Liddell was conspicuous by his absence at last week’s crunch rehearsal sessions. His excuse that his dog ate his homework AND frontman Euan Wemyss was rubbished by the loose-limbed mincer himself: "I was eaten by a dog?! nonsense, just nonsense! I mean, how could i be speaking to you if i was actually inside the stomach of a dog. i mean, i wouldn’t fit for starters, would i? what? oh yeah, i suppose the dog would chew me up...but anyway, i’ve not been eaten by a dog right? or have i? it is kind of dark where i am. Who is this? never call this number again..."
Despite the controversy, the FACE hope to be back on the "scene" (that’s what us cool guys call wherever it is that we are) by next month. FULLSTOP END.

NEW SINGLE
Yee hah!
Just to advise that the new Captain Face single is back from the CD making factory and will be available sooooooon (Mon 28th to be exact) we will be playing aberdeen and edinburgh in the run up, and have just confirmed shows in dundee and glasgow for the next few months.
You can listen to 100% CRAD here or on or myspaz page. i'm informed it will also be available through something called itunes, so that's nice.

Now now you shouldn't be bad mouthing the Kelminator, especially since he is lying flat on his back in hospital after having his apendix removed at 1am last night!! what a bummer!!
But he does have one hell of a hooter!! heh heh!
I believe the instrument in question is an omnichord, its an electric harp, prettty funky shiz niz!! costs about £20 in batteries to run though, fooking nightmare!!
