Unfortunatley it seems almost impossible for me and the rest of the Lynchs We have my dads family coming over for 2 weeks at the end of May..and then more family and friends throughout the summer!!!

I have the new Fred album so no need to send it, but thanks a million for the offer! I got it off iTunes the moment it became available. The advantages of having an Irish credit card is that I can still use the Irish iTunes store, regardless of where I am!
I'm actually listening to it right now. It's a bit more of a grower than the previous 2, but I'm really enjoying it. There's some great stuff on there.

Fair enough about Bon Jovi, they're not going to be around as often as Fred in fairness. We all need to drool from time to time!

Sounds like you have a pretty amazing schedule for the next few months. I've never been to either Iceland or Corsica so I can't advise I'm afraid. Most of my students think I come from Iceland cause it's easier to say than Ireland. If you're Japanese that is! They have L/R issues, and heaven forbid they should have to make both sounds one after the other! Ireland in Japanese is pronounced 'ai-ru-ran-do'.

I didn't know Halves were playing in London, that's great! I just heard they're supporting Fred next month too. That'll be the gig of the century!
Mismatched as hell but great nonetheless.

As for my future plans; I can't see myself staying in Japan for a 3rd year, although anything is possible. So the basic plan is that I'll finish up at the end off March next year. I'll probably travel around for a few weeks and come back to Ireland in April 09.

After that I have no idea what I'll do or what kind of work I'll get into, and to honest that's something that could keep me here longer. I have a job here, life is good, and Ireland is a big shit hole and I hated living there.
I'd still like to go back though. I just need to find a job I like!

You could consider that Fred will be playing again in a few months. They'll be back sooner or later anyway. Bon Jovi mightn't return for a while. Still though, they're no Fred!

I'm far more excited than I should be about their new album next week!

Enjoy the gig anyway, I'd say it'll be pretty great. When they released their last album they played in Cork Opera House backed by an orchestra! I already had tickets to REM in Dublin that night and I was raging to have missed it. REM were shit too!
