- Once upon a time *hazy flash back* It all began when a hairdresser, jazz and a wise old jew had a hazy, drunken night of absinthe fuelled passion. Nine months later, three young gentlemen crawled out of the 'gina and were raised by some wild saxophone playing bears.
An unfortunate accident occurred when Pinky the bear got a little over-zealous while playing and ripped out their vocal chords, rendering them entirely unable to sing. The boys were distraught and sought solace with their hero, The Hoff, through whom they met Gibb and decided everything was more melodic and sexual with him in their band. Thus, SILVER REEF was born.
Their time with the Hoff taught them that lyrics dont always sound all that great in music anyway. They took comfort in that and resigned themselves to making music so good, if they added lyrics; you may well be impregnated while listening. They also learnt to steer well clear of chest hair and giant eels. They soon drew close to manhood and the Hoff lost interest. Since then, they have travelled far, between Inverurie, Ellon, a place next to the middle of nowhere and......gask, bringing their musical bea(s)t to a firm consistency, delighting many ears and young ladies.

Break....
Don't worry....that doesn't mean silver reef are breaking up...!! just that with Tom going to uni and frasers trip coming up etc reef will not have gigs for a while, probably not for the rest of this year! but thank you for the support from the past gigs, reef will be back soon!!
Thought it would be an appropriate place to mention some gigs we have played.......which ones have you been at??
