Its been one year and we all miss you my cuz
Its been 365 days now,
But it still feels like the first
I thought it would get easier,
But today feels like the worst
Its been one whole year without you,
And I thought the pain would ease
But I guess it doesn't work that way,
I guess it won't ever leave
I still miss you just as much,
Somedays I miss you more
Especially when Im feeling down,
You were always there for me before
But I know you're always with me,
Because I carry you in my heart
Even though you're no longer here,
I guess we'll never be apart
So I'll celebrate the life you lived,
And love you through all of mine,
You were my Cousin, My Friend, and now you're my Angel
Who'll watch over me for all of time...
I wrote this for my cousin who passed away one year ago today, I love you cuz and miss you more than ever one year on
