Hi everyone,

I had a really good journey to Dublin and the hostel was great! I
spoke and ate breakfast with a French girl before I went to catch the
bus to the airport and she was really nice. She says she's trying to
find work in Ireland to improve her English.

The flight was good with inflight movies (Indiana Jones and a kid's
movie) and also Frasier, Fawlty Towers and a good few other American
comedies. There was a free lunch of pasta and beef bolognese and salad
so I could eat it. It did take me about half an hour though.

The plane left about three quarters of an hour later than scheduled
because of refuelling and we had to wait about 10-15 minutes to dock
into the Orlando airport.
Then the customs line was huge and we had to have our bags checked and
rechecked so by the time I got my bags David had arrived 5 minutes
earlier so i didn't have to carry them^^. Two of his friends Xiao Long
and Alex had come along too (Xiao Long drove). We stopped off at a
McDonald's that is two levels of games and arcades and full of
merchandise! The food was weird too because they had wraps and
different types of ethnic food, along with the normal artery-clogging
stuff. I just got water because I was still full from the dinner on
the plane (I'm going to need LOADS of water here). We passed a
building that was made to look upside down (even with palm trees
upside down!) and it was the place where Ripley's Believe It or Not is
researched.

Oh yeah. Here it is as hot outside as when we put on the heating and
inside it's like a warm summer's day in Ireland even with air
conditioning. It was stormy when we landed so I think I brought irish
weather and the clouds were so dark.

When we reached David's house I was really amazed. The ceilings are
really high and everything is clean and white but homely and the
windows are really big. His Dad and Mum gave me a hug and when I went
into the room I'm staying in I saw a sign saying,"Welcome to America
Dani". David's mother had made it. His Dad had made tofu with pork and broccoli with garlic, spring
onions and a white sauce. Also there was sushi and green tea. YUM!
We went for a walk around his neighbourhood and there
is a pool, two tennis courts and a public park. His Mum gave me the
gift she bought for me in China.
